Hi, I have an HP OMEN 16-wd0880TX. I want to know how many SSD slots it has and whether I can add a second SSD without removing the current one. Also, how many RAM slots does it have and what’s the max RAM supported? Thanks!

Your notebook has support for one M.2 NVMe SSD, so if you need more storage you will have to replace the existing drive with one having a greater storage capacity.

Chapter 1 of the service manual has the memory upgrade info.

Maintenance and Service Guide

The service manual makes mention of two SSD slot positions, but that is for the 16-wf0xxx model series, not yours.

Hello,

Thank you for your time. I wanted to ask if you could please confirm whether my laptop model supports a 4TB SSD. Kindly let me know the maximum supported storage capacity and any specific SSD type (NVMe/SATA) that would be compatible.

Looking forward to your response.

You're very welcome.

Theoretically, there is no limit to the storage capacity drive you install as long as it is single sided which means a 4 TB SSD should work just fine.

Your PC supports PCIe Gen 4x4 NVME SSD's.

Hi!

I'd just like to add that RAM can be upgraded to much more than what the manual reports. In this case HP just mentions the possible configurations it sells the laptops with (32GB being the top one). The 13420H on the 16-wd0880tx model can support up to 96GB of DDR5 running at 5200 speed. Crucial gives 64GB as the max (guaranteed compatible RAM) limit. However, many people are now upgrading the Intel 13th and 14th gen DDR5 HP Gaming laptops to 96GBs. Such systems can also be spotted  sold online in various countries....

The 16-wd0006nt laptop sold in Turkiye with the 13620H , that also works with 96GB @5200 DDR5, can be seen on online stores offered with the maximum 96GB RAM and 4TB SSD:

The Crucial "CT2K48G56C46S5" 2x48GB kit can be used to max out the OMEN 16-wd0880tx laptop's RAM.
