Hi,
For 1,5 year now I have this Spectre laptop. Ever since the beginning I experience lockups sometimes. Like, I activate a window and it takes 1 to more seconds of freezing before it reacts on any input at all. I upgraded windows home to pro. Even had to reinstall completely once due to a Microsoft upgrade f*ck*up. But this behavior kept appearing now and then. I figured it's probably network or storage related, so I started updating drivers as much as possible. But I noticed HP support has no new firmware nor new drivers for my SSD. The SSD inside it seems to be as pm981 NVMe PCI-E SSD Drive (known as MZVLB1T0HALR-000H1 ) and the driver is a Microsoft driver from 2006 (!!!!!). They gotta be kidding, right? I mean... that is almost 15 years old. Even before Windows 7.
Does anyone know how to get a decent and recent driver for this SSD? Samsung seems not to offer them for download since it's OEM responsibility?
Regards, Eric
