Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Pavillion DV7 6157cl.

Its  old but extremely reliable and i was wondering if anyone with the knowledge could make suggestions as to how i can speed it up maybe with more RAM and or SSD ? It seems to be excessively slow since upgrading to Windows 10 from Win 7.

Any links to hardware would be appreciated! It is stock as of now.

It is a bit old, no official available specs now. The following specs is accepteble

  1. RAM: It has 6GB (4GB + 2GB) now and it supports 8GB (4GB + 4GB) max. You can replace existing 2GB using SAME 4GB on other slot or using 2 pieces of  https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr3/ct51264bf160b/ct9175865
  2. STORAGE: You can upgrade to 1TB or 2TB 2.5" SSD using   https://www.crucial.com/ssd/mx500/ct1000mx500ssd1/ct11469350  OR  https://www.crucial.com/ssd/mx500/ct2000mx500ssd1/ct11405607
