I am looking to add a SSD to my laptop and also a ram stick, i know i can add a ram but what's the max. ram allowed for my device and can i go with any ddr4 3200hz?  getting back to the SSDs is there any extra M.2 slot available? or do i have to go with the long process of formatting my SSD which also has my OS & replace it with newer larger one? Or is it a good idea just to replace my HDD with a SATA SSD?

Your notebook has support for one M.2 SSD only.

If you need more storage, you can replace the M.2 NVMe SSD with one having a larger storage capacity.

I don't recommend buying a 2.5" drive unless you just want to use it for storage.

The notebook supports 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory.

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade info--first one listed on the user guides page.

You should be able to install any brand memory you want as long as it is DDR4-3200 CL22.

You could clone the 256 GB drive to a larger one, but you would need cloning software for that as well as a USB3/USB-C to NVMe SSD enclosure to put the new drive in so you can clone it.
