HP OmniBook X Flip 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop Next Gen AI PC 16-as0000 IDS Base Model

I recently purchased a new laptop (HP OmniBook X Flip 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop Next Gen AI PC 16-as0000 IDS Base Model) and it's been out of the box for maybe 5 or so days. I have been using it for gaming with an EGPU (Razer EGPU case with NVIDIA 3050 card) connected to the machine via Thunderbolt. I have not had any issues until today, when I connected my SSD to the second, non-Thunderbolt USB-C port. I use this SSD for games storage.

Immediately after connecting the SSD, I began to have WHEA errors causing my computer to BSOD. They were occurring so frequently (albeit without crashing my machine, for whatever reason) that they'd just completely take over my event viewer window. Here is the info on one of the events pulled from event viewer.

A corrected hardware error has occurred.

(This one is logged as a correctable error I believe, but the stop code on my BSOD was WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (0x124))

I looked into Device Manager and saw that the PCI port is likely the port where I plug my SSD in. I tried with 2 SSDs and both resulted in this. Neither are broken (I was using them with no issue a few days ago on my old laptop).

I have attempted the fix involving changing power plans and made sure my drivers are up-to-date, but to no avail. Since the last time I used my PC and the onset of this issue I have not updated any drivers or graphics software. The issue also occurs when I connect the SSDs via USB-A. Any advice would be appreciated.
