Hi all !

I am planning on a SSD change. I found out that I'll need a 2280 m.2 with PCIe 3x4 for best performances.

The actual one is a B+M keyed, and I am not able to know if my motherboard will be compatible with a M keyed SSD. It is a HP 82B9 and I can't find any info about the m.2 slot.

Thanks in advance for the help,

Cheers

Hi,

Do not worry too much about the slot. They will fit. You can install an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD of your preferred brand and capacity.

https://www.samsung.com/it/memory-storage/nvme-ssd/970-evo-plus-nvme-m-2-ssd-1tb-mz-v7s1t0bw/

On page 33 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive.
