Pavilion x360 14-cd0520sa

Hello,

I would like some help please 🙂

I have Pavilion x360 14-cd0520sa notebook with 1tb HDD. And I would like to install additional 256gb ssd and make it a primary disk for faster OS. And use HDD to store movies and other media.

I tried to research for what ssd to buy, and on crucial  website I found compatible ssd m.2 PCIe NVMe Gen 3.

But locally I found d some ssd with "PCI-Express x4 NVMe" connection or so..not really sure what the numbers mean, just wondering g if the local one PCI-Express x4 NVMe would fit? Since it's good price/speed value.

I can also source locally PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4.

Just not sure how to choose..so it fits and works.

PS: I checked my laptop has a slot for additional SSD hard drive.

Thank you!!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know about the M.2 port available on your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I do not have the product specifications of your computer. However, as per the service guide for your computer, it lists both PCIe, NVMe, value, M.2, solid-state drives. You need to open the back panel and check for the exact specifications of the port.

Below is the link to the service guide for your computer.
