Hello, I have an older HP notebook model HP15-af165sa with 1TB HDD and 8GB ram & bought in 2016.

It is still suitable for my needs. But slow.

I wish to replace the original 1TB HDD with a compatible SSD. Does anyone know of the specific type of SSD?

( I bought one 2.5" SATA also 1TB, from Crucial but it throws up a battery error when trying to boot up)

I did a battery test and it shows error, but when I replace the HDD back, the computer works without any trouble.

Also,

If I need to replace the battery, then what would be the part number of that please?

Hi:

 

I have never come across that problem before.

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the Western Digital Blue SA510 2.5" drive and see if that one works without a problem.

If you need a new battery, chapter 3 of the service manual has the part number and description of the two batteries offered in the model series.
