Dear HP CS,
I wanted to install a SSD on my HP 15-bc019nl, and for that I've bought a Samsung 860 EVO SATA m.2.
After installing the SSD, it was not recognised by my Windows system so could please let me know if the SSD I've bought is compatible with my laptop?
I'm not sure if the laptop specifically requires a M.2 NVMe connection or if it can also work with an M.2 SATA. I've tried looking for the manual online but I can't find it anywhere.
Also, if the SSD is compatible, can you tell me what I've to do to make it show on the computer?
Thanks for your help

@trueknight I've looked up the service and maintenance guide for you and here's what I see:
Click here to verify: Under page. 2 Chapter 1 (Product description.
Note: As an upgrade/custom enthusiast I personally love the idea of upgrading the device as well, However, HP recommends that you go easy on it as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance and also, the upgradeable parts listed above are purely for your ease, though the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion
Let me know how that pans out,
