I doubt you will be able to find that info anywhere.
I don't know why any SATA III SSD wouldn't work in your notebook.
I have zipped up and attached a free utlity below, that will tell you everything possible about the hardware in your notebook.
Look under the Motherboard report to see if any info presented is worthwhile.

You're very welcome.
It sure is a great utility.
Did you use it to check your hard drive speed and drive controller speed?
You can check that by clicking on the Drives category on the left side of the program window after you close the summary report.

Yes I did check the drive speeds etc., but not to sure what I'm looking at I guess - I wouldn't know if something was good or bad, fast or slow. Never-the-less, it tells me memory type in case I would want to buy ram or upgrade the cpu as so on. VERY COOL

OK, when you look at the right side of the program window after you click on your hard drive listed on the left side of the program window, the first report will tell you the drive speed and the drive controller speed.
For example: A SATA 3 drive running on a SATA 3 controller will report SATA 6.0 Gb/S @ 6 Gb/S.
That is the best transfer speed you can have on a SATA SSD.
