Unfortunately, HP has tied our hands on our former ability to quickly provide an answer to that question.
You will need to provide the complete system SKU, including the part after the # character for us to use the tool that is available to us.
Here is how to find that information, if your laptop will still boot to Windows and you can log in.
While logged into Windows, hold down the Windows key and tap the R key once.
That will open the Windows run dialogue
Type in msinfo32 and press enter.
In the list that is invoked, the ninth line is the SKU and the HP product number.
Kindly post it in your next reply in your thread.
The System SKU/Product ID will enable us to determine the hardware configuration of your notebook.

Hi,
You're welcome.
Unfortunately, without the complete product name and product number (system SKU), using the HP error translation utility is not possible.
Here is what you provided: HP ENVY Laptop 13-ah1xxx. The missing parts are where the x characters are.
System SKU: 4FF69AV , There should be an # and three characters that would make it complete.
If I have either of those complete I can get the error code translated into human language with the utility
Another method:
From an off state.
Press the power button and immediately tap the Esc key.
That should bring up a Startup menu.
Now tap the F1 key and there should be a Product Information list that is more detailed.
In that list you should see the Product Number with everything, including the marketing region code, that I need.
Copy that Product Number and post it in your next reply to your thread.

So in the startup menu, then F1 key for system information you do not see the complete Product Number?
Unfortunately what you have provided still does not help me fill in the boxes for the error code utility.
How about looking on the bottom of the notebook. There are some tiny, I really mean tiny descriptive codes there. You might see the complete product number there.
BTW, HP freaks out about laptop serial numbers being provided and I did not request that.

Sorry for the confusion. Here is what F1 displays for System information:
Product name (the version with xxx at the end
System Family
Product number, which was provided -4FF69AV
Serial Number
Born on Date
System Board ID
System Board CT Number
BIOS Version
Processor Type
Total Memory
Primary Battery SN
Feature Byte
Build ID

When I open the System information from the F1 key I see much more than that.
All of the items actually have data included with them
You provided Product number, which was provided -4FF69AV. Where is the #xxx. The three x's are characters which are the region market information.
I stated that before in a previous post in this thread.
How about the feature byte? it has a long list of alphanumeric characters.
That also has the # and three characters that we need.

All of them have information, just didn't want to provide in case HP didn't want it shared, as with Serial Number.
"xxx" is all that is there.
Feature Byte: 3H6b 7B7K 7N7W 7jaB apaq asaw bBbh cbd8 dUdp dqfp fmhZ j6 .2E

Is there no a # and then three alphanumeric characters? That is what I need.
If you can't provide the information I need I really cannot help you.
