Hi
The model series has support for one M.2 NVMe Generation 4.0 SSD.
Drive capacity: Theoretically the sky's the limit as long as the drive is single-sided.
The Crucial SSD report shows that they offer NVMe SSD's up to 4 TB in storage capacity for the model series:
HP - Compaq HP Victus 16-s1000 | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial IN
Below is the link to the service manual: HP only has the manual for the 16-s0xxx model series.
Maintenance and Service Guide Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PCModel numbers: 16-s0xxx
Chapter 1 lists the drive capacities HP offered in the model series.
The service manual (chapter 6, page 41) shows two M.2 NVMe SSD positions, but the service teardown video only shows one.
