Hi, @SamalaSravan
If your 245 G7 has an AMD Ryzen processor, you can install a NVMe SSD.
If it has an AMD 'A' series processor, your notebook will only support a SATA M.2 SSD.
Here's a video that shows a NVMe SSD will work fine in a 245 G7 with an AMD Ryzen processor.

But some of my friends said it supports NVMe SSDs. I have gone through the specifications but requesting further detailed information.
If it could only supports M.2 SATA, can I use it as C-drive for transferring windows into and use it as default boot drive.?

The you have your proof in the video that a NVMe SSD will work just fine.
I recommend the Western Digital Blue SN570 NVMe SSD.
This is the 500 GB model:
It is fast and inexpensive.
The SN550 shown in the video is the previous generation model.
