Good afternoon, I want to replace the disk drive in my laptop with an SSD disk, I use a HP ProBook 640 G1 14 inches, please tell me what are the dimensions of the parts and what connector should I choose? I'm running Windows 10 and Linux Fedora and want to host them on 2 different drives.

Hello FrostDot.
According to your laptop's manual, you can change your HDD to any SATA 2.5 inch drive (including SSD) with a maximum thickness of 9.5mm. However that won't get you 2 drives.
If you want to have dual-storage on this system, you can also install a second SSD in the slot meant for the WWAN modem.
You will need a SATA (not PCI-e/NVME) 2242 m.2 drive. You will also need to enable the m.2 option in BIOS.
Dual-booting on these systems has its own challenges. Good luck!
