Device 6X4A1PA#ABG I want to add the SSD HD that is positioned next to the battery been to a couple of pc repair shops and no one at the shops i went to know where to get the cable from motherboard to SSD.
Does anyone know a cable that will do the job or similar and i can find one close to what is given to me in answers to this question and which would be the best hard drive manufacturer for performance and running capabilities with the hp laptop Thank you

Hi:
According to chapter 1 of the service manual, 2.5" drives are not supported in the model series and chapter 3 of the manual has no parts such as a hard drive cable or mounting brackets to add one.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
If you see what appears to be a SATA connector on the motherboard for a hard drive, that is for the 64 GB eMMC flash media drive that is for the models that came with a 64 GB eMMC drive. That connector will not support a SATA drive.
HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 1 TB in the model series, so if you need more storage, you can replace the 256 GB NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.
If you want to do that, I recommend either the Samsung 980 (not 980 Pro), or the Western Digital Blue SN570.
