Hi! I have 5MH40EA (15-db0379ur) model of laptop. Now I want to upgrade some hardware, so I need to know, what kind of m.2 ssd I can use for my laptop?

Hi,

The M2 slot in the notebook supports M2 SATA3 and much faster M2 PCIe NVMe SSD. There is no limit to capacity.

Example:

On page 47 of service manual, you can see the steps to install the SSD

You will need to reinstall the OS on the SSD for performance gain.
