I own a HP 15-cw1004la laptop.
And it comes with a 128gb ssd SATA m.2 . And i want to upgrade to a ssd nvme m.2.
I have seen that some times if you conect a nvme in a SATA port it could born out.
Please help me.

Hi:
Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that your notebook's M.2 slot supports NVMe SSDs.
Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion 15 Laptop PC
The tradeoff for faster speeds is that NVMe SSD's tend to run hotter than SATA SSDs because they do run so fast.
The best way to mitigate that problem would be to buy a NVMe SSD that advertises better cooling such as the Samsung 980 (not 980 Pro) or the Hynix Gold P31.
