HP 15 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Recently I decided to upgrade my laptop by adding an SSD to it. The questions I have are:
Can my laptop have an SSD + the 1TB HDD it already has or I need to remove the HDD and replace it with an SSD?

Also, what SSD should I purchase? I'm thinking of 256GB SSD+ 1TB  HDD( the hdd it already has) or if i have to remove the HDD to have only one 512GB SSD.

What would you advise me?

Laptop name is: HP 15 Notebook PC

Product Number is: K6Y69EA#AKS

Thank you.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive installed on the PC.

To get the answer to this question, this computer does not support M.2 SSD

See the supports the following hard drives:

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
