Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP 15-da0014dx laptop with a bad M.2 SSD drive.  I am looking to replace the drive but am trying to confirm that if I order the 16G USB - Windows 10 64-bit Recovery Kit that this will indeed reinstall Windows 10 on the new drive and w/o any product key issues.

Since the laptop is already apart and I am replacing the HD, I am wondering if I can upgrade my model's SSD from the 128GB SATA-3 TLC (L20381-001) to the 256GB SATA-3 TLC (L20382-001) along with the process above and have success.

Any assistance is very much appreciated.

Yes. The cloud recovery flashdrive will install the OS with no problems. The OS key will be recognized as valid by Microsoft's Licensing servers and be accepted as valid.

Yes.

You can upgrade the SSD to a larger capacity unit. Personally I would not use one with less capacity that 500 GB.

A Samsung  or Sandisk unit with the same specs (SATA-3 TLC) will work.

I have performed SSD upgrades and  successful OS reinstalls using HP Cloud Recovery flashdrives many times.
