What is the storage size of 256gb SSD, compared to the alternate HDD?

Hi,

 

The storage size is basically the same as it is a measure of how much data can be stored and is given in GB. The difference is in the speed with sata hard drive being up to 10 times faster.

 

So 250 GB SSD is equal to 250GB HDD

1TB SSD is equal to 1TB HDD

250GB drive formatted does not equal 250GB.

 

250GB formatted drive = 232.83GB .

The question was not what capacity the drive has once formatted. The question asked what woud be equal to a 250GB SSD if one uses a mechanical HDD. The size is the same as it is only a calcuation of how much data the drive can store.
