I have Hp Pavillion  15-ec0101AX  model laptop it came with HDD and now i wanted to upgrade it into the SSD, i just wanted to know whether it have extra ssd slot and which type of ssd it support, for eg. gen 3/4 ,  NVME m.2 please help ,

also please suggest best SSD for the same.

Your service manual (page 2) states that your model comes with an M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSDs.  M.2 NVMe has no size limits. You can install a 512 GB, 1, 2 or 4 TB.

M.2 NVMe SSDs gen4 are backwards compatible with your gen 3 M.2 slot, but they run at gen 3 speeds.
