Hp 15 bs-145tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have HP 15 bs 145tu laptop with a 1tb HDD. I want to upgrade my laptop with an additional SSD. I have checked there are two type of m.2 SSD available

1.HP SSD EX900 M.2 120GB PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe 3D TLC NAND Internal Solid State Drive

2.HP SSD S700 M.2 2280 120GB SATA III 3D TLC NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

IT is difficult to understand the type pf SSD compatible with my laptop NVME or SATA

Can anyone please help

Hi:

Your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports SATA SSD's only, not NVMe.

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types.
