I have HP 15q bu107tx laptop with 1TB ROM and 8gb Ram I want to add SSD so I want to know is it possible to add SSD without removing 1TB ROM. My local service center guy is telling it's not possible to keep both so I want confirm once if it's possible to keep both.

It appears that the "service center guy" is correct. Here is the manual for that model line
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257.pdf
Starting with page 53 and following, the manual shows the existing hard drive and how to replace it. It also shows an adapter for a M.2 drive but that adapter fits in the existing hard drive space, so both cannot be present at/in the same space.
So the alternative is to replace the existing hard drive either with the illustrated adapter and installing a M.2 drive or replace the existing hard drive with a SATA SSD designed to replace the hard drive.
I'm not an HP employee.
