HP Pavilion15 eg-3019na

Hi

I am looking to upgrade the hard drive in Hp Pavilion 15 eg-3019na to 1TB. Would either of the following be compatible and are there cheaper options.

HP 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe TLC SSD Module

HP 1TB PCIe-4x4 NVMe M.2 SSD

Thanks

Hi:

I don't know what part numbers they are, but they should work.

Also, I have read numerous posts on this forum when folks try to register the HP drives the serial numbers don't show as a valid product and they have issues with warranty claims on them if the drive happens to fail.

I'd look into the Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD.

Or if you want to spend a few more pounds, the Samsung 990 Pro has been recently released to market.

HP only has the older service manual for the 15-eg1xxx model series available, but it should be of help to you for opening up the notebook to replace the drive

There is also this service teardown video for the first model in the series that HP released.
