I have a question whether the my laptop has a secondary ssd option other than the nvme

If yes, how can a ssd be installed into the secondary ssd port.

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06219881

There is only one M.2 slot for a SSD which is already occupied by the one you have in there now.

In order to add a 2.5" SATA SSD, you would need to purchase additional parts listed in chapter 3 of the service manual...

(9) Hard drive cable connector   929450-001
(10) Hard drive brackets              929561-001

It would probably be very difficult to find the parts you need.

Its turns out that HP actually provides the required connector and caddy to install an ssd/hdd in the future.

Your're very welcome.

That's good news.

Many of the HP notebooks that come with SSD's only do not come with the plastic blank where the hard drive goes and the cable.
