HP EliteBook x360 1030 G4 Notebook PC IDS Base Model

Hello,

I would like to upgrade the current SSD on my HP Elitebook X360 1030 G4 (SN : [Personal Information Removed]) : a 256 Gb (L31876-001) PCIe NVMe M.2 is currently installed but become too small.

The motherboard is a UMA i5-8365U 16GB OSR W (L75101-601), I would like to know if the PCIe ports are Gen 3 or 4 ?

I hesitate between a SAMSUNG SSD 980 M.2 PCIE NVME 1 TO (PCIe 3.0) and a SAMSUNG SSD 980 PRO M.2 PCIE NVME 2 TO (PCIe 4.0) and I don't know if they will be both accepted by the motherboard ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Claude.
