Hi there, I have an hp pavilion 15-bc001nq and I want to replace the factory 128gb m2 sata3 ssd with a bigger one, and preferably pcie express, but I'm not sure if it's supported. I was thinking about an HP EX900 or a Samsung 970 evo. Does anyone has any experience with these two or other similar NVMe PCIe ssd's on this laptop model? Thank you!

@SergiuF , welcome to the forum.

 

Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the laptop.  In Chapter 5, Removal and replacement procedures for authorized service provider parts, Page 41, it lists the compatible SSD's and how to remove it.  You can use the part numbers given to check the specifications of the SSD: https://www.cdw.com/product/HP-solid-state-drive-512-GB-PCI-Express-3.0-x4-NVMe/4548510

 

I believe that you will be able to find the SSD for much less money than the one in the link that I provided.  This gives you the specifications for the SSD, however.
