Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased HP Pavilion 15 BC406TX and now want to add an additional SSD along with HDD to it..!!Please specify which M.2 SSD will support to it and upto which storage capacity. I m thinking to buy the Samsung 860 EVO 250GB SATA M.2 INTERNAL SSD...

Plz specify everything clearly and help me to sort out the same. I didnt understood the data sheet provided by HP Whatsapp Support

The Samsung EVO 850 has an MLC memoryand an NVMe controller.  Your notebook's BIOS requires  TLC  and  a non-NVMe controller. That means that the Samsung EVO series is unlikely to work with your BIOS.

 

The Samsung PM961 M.2 PCIe would be a better plan to consider as an upgrade option.  It uses TLC memory
