Hello!
I own a laptop with an Intel Optane H10 with SSD 256 and 16 GB of memory. I recently ran out of space and bought an Intel Optane H20 Memory with 32GB + Intel QLC 3D NAND SSD 512GB, M.2 80mm PCIe 3.0.
I thought I knew the steps needed to upgrade my laptop but upon further research, I am clueless about what I should do. I would like to keep the same data that is in my old SSD and I am planning on using Diskgenius as a cloning software.
Thank you for your help.

You will need an NVME adapter like this so you can clone your old NVME to the new one.
Attach your new drive to that USB adapter that is "M+B"
clone the old drive to the new one
Disassembly video is here
swap drives
You may need to run that Intel RST tool to configure the new memory.
If you have not bought the new Optane yet, you might consider just buying a cheap 1 or 2 TB NVME and just put the entire windows on it. The Optane is designed for speeding up your hard drive (HDD) but if the NVME has all the OS on it the HDD is pretty much un-needed.
I do not know if the new Optane with bigger memory will work in your system or not. Be prepared to return it.

Hello!
Thank you so much for your reply. It was truly helpful.
I just bought the adapter and, I did check that the maximum memory my laptop can support is 32 GB.
To avoid making things more difficult for myself, I chose to just use the laptop manufacturer's SSD but, I also had the Samsung ssd 970 evo plus as a second choice.
