HP Spectre x360 15eb0100nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there. I’m new to Windows computers and to HP specifically. I bought the HP Spectre x360 Laptop 15eb0100nd with 1Tb and I want to upgrade the ssd to w Tb. But I don’t know how shoul I do it step by step. After replacing ssd itself what is should be done first: restore the Windows or recover HP system first and then work on Windows restoring? Could anyone help me with step by step guidance please? My laptop is absolutely new with no personal data that need to be backed -up. The upgrading 2Tb is also new out package. I want to be careful do not loose P reinstalled drivers or system files.

I would appreciate help very much

Did your system come with a recovery DVD? If not, the best option is to obtain an external drive, create a system recovery to that drive and then swap drives and restore. There are also external drive adapters you can get that would allow you to connect both drives at the same time and mirror your existing drive to the new one.

Hi, thank you very much for you reply and suggestions! And with the “system recovery” do you mean preinstalled HP system with all drivers or Windows operation system or both at once? (Sorry, I am not very technical but have no one to help me with this and trying to do it myself)

I appreciate your time very much
