Pavilion 15-ec1106AX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I'm currently using a pavilion 15 EC1106AX and my laptop now runs 512GB SSD and I'm looking to upgrade it. How can I find what is the maximum limit my laptop can support?

Thank you.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
After reading your post, I did go through the
Product Specifications of your product and found out that your computer shipped with a 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD and you can expand up to 1 TB, 5400 rpm, 7.2 mm.

Refer to the Maintenance and Service Guide to know more about storage configuration. Table 1-1 Product components and their descriptions

If you still need additional technical assistance that can be better provided through one-on-one interaction, then you can contact our HP Support team. HP Support  can be reached by clicking on the following link: https://www.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Well you have seen the oficial support answer of 1TB drive, however many have used 2TB drives without issues.

You can check on compatible ssds's on Crucial's site- https://www.crucial.com/store/crucial-advisor-trust
