Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have hp notebook 14q-cs0017tu laptop.

I wanted to upgrade in m.2 nvme ssd.

So which generation of PCIe 3 or 4 

Will my laptop support.

And is m.2 nvme port directly connected to the cpu or not?

Hi:

 

Your PC's M.2 slot is PCIe Gen 3.   So is the processor.

 

A PCIe Gen 4 SSD will work but only at the Gen 3 speed.
