Pavilion gaming 15-cx0063nu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I need help. I am planning to put on a SSD in my laptop(HP Pavilion gaming 15-cx0063nu). So, my question is what type of SSD to choose?  All I know is that the form factor need to be M.2... I don't know much on that topic... I've seen to types of M.2 drives, one of which is with three conectors/pins(one large in the middle and two tiny on the sides of that big one) and with two conectors(one large and one tiny)... So my question is which one to buy?

Thank you in advance! ❤️

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook's model series.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05985643

Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.

According to the manual the M.2 slot supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's.

You would want the NVMe SSD because it provides faster read/write speeds than SATA SSD's do.

You want the drive with one notch in it (NVMe), not two notches (SATA).
