Hi @Will5766,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.
May I have the exact product name and number? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
In the context of SSDs (Solid State Drives), the wear level typically refers to the remaining lifespan of the drive, rather than a percentage of wear.
Note: A wear level of 1 indicates that the SSD is in excellent condition, with plenty of remaining lifespan. SSDs typically have a wear leveling algorithm that distributes write operations evenly across the memory cells to prolong the lifespan of the drive.
So, if your HP Spectre is showing a wear level of 1, it means that the SSD is still in good condition and doesn't need to be replaced.
However, it's always a good idea to keep an eye on the wear level over time to monitor any changes and plan for eventual replacement when necessary.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
