They are both pretty much the same--the WD Blue costing less.

 

The Samsung does have a slightly faster write speed.

I recommend that you read customer and professional reviews on both.

 

If you don't mind springing for the extra $10/$20 for the 500 GB/1 TB drive, I would probably go with the Samsung.
