I am using HP AE009tx laptop. Can I use Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 SSD on it?
If Yes, what is the Maximum Size? And if no, Which one I can use and of what Size?

Hi,

It should have an M2 slot with support for M2 SATA3 SSD (not PCIe NVMe) so the Samsung 970 EVO Plus will not work.

Something like the M2 Samsung 860 Evo would be great.

You can get it from your preferred brand and capacity.

However, before buying the SSD I would take a look if the actual M2 slot is present on the motherboard as sometimes it is missing in notebooks that did not come with M2 SSD

On page 34 of the service manual you can see the steps to remove the bottom cover to take a look

If the slot is not there you can replace the HDD with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD.

Hope it helps,

David
