Samsung 860 PRO SSD 1TB and HP Laptop bs016st compatability?

My HP laptop is bs016st and I've recently upgraded it's memory from it's standard Samsung 6 GB to it's max of Crucial 16 GB which had really increased it's performance. However, I'd like to further increase it's performance by swapping out it's standard 1 TB HDD to an 1 TB or 2 TB SSD. After reading and reviewing the service manual for my specific HP laptop, there is a single 2.5" drive bay which makes it possible for such an upgrade.

I was just wondering if the Samsung 860 PRO SSD 1TB - 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology (MZ-76P1T0BW) is compatible with my specific HP Laptop? I remember from what I was told before, my laptop can have a Crucial MX500 2TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD - CT2000MX500SSD1 in place of it's standard 1 TB HDD; I'm just thinking of upgrading options to further increasing disk performance, especially during bootup and

Windows Updates.
