Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (2V8Z7AV)

I installed a Samsung 980 SSD,M.2 SSD in my second slot and , while the drive is visible in device manager, the system, otherwise cannot see it.

Has anyone experience of this or a solution?  I need more memory and would prefer to not waste more money on another incompatible ssd drive.

Hi:

You probably need to initialize the disk.

Hello.

Thanks for the suggestion but the issue is that the system does not " see " the new drive, so when I go to disc management to initialize the disc, its not there.

The disc is visible in device manager, nowhere else on the system that I have found, thus ,no chance to initiialize ,nor format the new drive.

Cheers
