I have a HP elite book 830 G5. I have been attempting to switch my internal hard drive with a Samsung 990 pro.

I first needed to initialise the SSD, which worked I cloned this, and then tried to put it into the computer. When I did this, I was greeted with the BIOS settings, and that was all when I did the storage check. Nothing came up so it hasn’t worked

 

I installed my initial internal hydro back and then have tried to take control of the SSD. I have no security tab. I am missing group policy files. I am missing Registry editor files and when I try to register these some of them come up with file location not found. I have gone into system 32, system wow 64. 

 

I need help.

I created the Security DWORD and it doesn't work with the properties of the SSD
