Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Ive just replaced my old Mac with a new version and it will not allow me to install a new driver update, the printer works fine on an older MacBook Pro laptop but just won't print anything on the new. when I try to install a driver update on this website it ask's for the serial number but when I put that in the dropdown box it says not recognised and will not allow me to go any further.
