Is this ssd  compatabile with my system?

Samsung - 960 EVO 250GB Internal PCI Express 3.0 x4 (NVMe)

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums. 

 

I understand that you would like to know if the Samsung SSD you've mentioned is compatible with this laptop or not. I'll be glad to assist you with this. 

 

I did some digging on this case and found the list of compatible SSDs that HP has tried and tested with this laptop model. Below is the lost of those SSDs:

 

 

Also, page # 30 from the service guide explains how to install an SSD. 

 

Your Samsung SSD looks like of a similar specification and should work fine.
