I am going to upgrade my SSD to Samsung 500GB 970 EVO Plus on my HP Omen 15-dc0010ca
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1454173-REG/samsung_mz_v7s500b_am_500gb_970_evo_plus.html
Is it compatible with my HP Omen 15-dc0010ca ?
Or 500 gb ssd will cause some issues as in the manual it mentioned that I need 512gb ssd.
Manual ,page 8,table 1-2 : http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06219881
Should I get 512 gb instead 500 gb ssd?
Thank you

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06146030
It has 128 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD now. You have few options
(a) Replace 128GB with 512GB or 1TB or 2TB with a compatible drive using
https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/970-evo-nvme-m2-ssd/MZ-V7E2T0BW/
https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-p2-ssd
https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-p5-ssd
Or similar from reputable vendors.
One example (compatible drive, can use smaller/larger capacity)
https://www.crucial.com/ssd/p5/ct1000p5ssd8/ct18123983
(b) Add 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD to your machine, for example (my Omen 15-dc.... machine which has dual storage option)
But you need more parts. Your choice is a or b. From my view, b is cleaner but again you need more parts. I bought my machine which is a pre installed dual storage model/product.
Regards.

Thank you for your reply.
I have dual storage preinstalled 128 SSD and 1TB HDD.
I just need more SSD for video editing.
So I thought that Samsung 500GB 970 EVO Plus would be good . ( Evo plus It is faster than regular one ,or its'not compatible?)
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1454173-REG/samsung_mz_v7s500b_am_500gb_970_evo_plus.html
I don't think I can install more than 512gb as manual says .
And does it matter 512 or 500 gb?
