Hallo,
i'm currently trying to solve a problem with the ProBook x360. Auto rotation keeps rotating the screen 90° to the right in portrait mode while the device stands normally in clamshell mode. That results in keyboard and touchpad getting deactivated. Locking the auto rotation in landscape mode sadly does not reactivate keyboard and touchpad.Turning the device on its right side activates keyboard and touchpad and the screen rotated back to landscape mode.
I tried different operating systems (Windows 11, Windows 10 and Ubuntu as Live System on a USB-Stick), the problem persists through every OS and starts as soon als the setup starts. Keyboard and Touchpad work in BIOS. I confirmed the output from the orientation sensor vai SensorExplorer, it shows "rotated 90°" when standing in Clamshell mode and "not rotated" while lying on its right side.
I already swapped the display with a spare part we had in storage, but nothing changed. What else can i do to solve the problem?
