Hey everyone, I want to upgrade my laptop's screen. The model of my laptop is hp 15-b020et, which currently has a 1366x768 screen. I wonder if this model supports a full HD screen. If yes, which screen would be compatible with this model?
By the way, it is quite similar to the notebook with the model number 15t-b000. I guess my laptop is the Turkey version of this model.

Yes pull the existing screen and find a new screen with the same connector (40 pin) and mounting points. If the cable supports full HD then a full HD screen will work. If not there is no other cable as there was just the one screen offered. I would say odds are maybe 60-40 in favor.

Service Manual:
See p. 27. HP only offered a 1366 x 768 screen in this model series so whether you can go to a FHD screen is very hard to say. The cable may or may not support it. It's a 40 pin lower right connector. 40 pin cables generally not always will support a 1920 x 1080 display. Good luck.
If this is the answer you neede dplease accept as solution.

Hello again, I have more to ask. 🙂
If I find and mount a random full HD 15.6-inch display with a 40-pin lower right connector to this laptop, will it work if the cable supports this resolution? Also, if the cable does not support it, is there a cable suitable for this product that can support a full HD screen?
