I have a HP pavillion laptop which i purchased 1 year ago and i have noticed that plastic is started to stretch from the corner of the screen when opening the laptop? I have looked this up and it is due to faulty brackets which connect the screen to keyboard on these hp laptops. I also have noticed that my warranty has just expired. it is ridiculous that i have owned this laptop only one year and it is rarely used so it has to be down to a faulty bracket made by HP? I have also noticed alot of others having the same problem. This laptop cost me £550 and for this to happen after one year of use is just not acceptable. So now i am unsure what to do as i believe it will just get worse over time.

Hi @Luke37,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
