I went to an appointment and left my laptop open with The Finals' main menu open for about an hour I think. When I returned the screen was flickering (i.e. visible with the naked eye), and there is a ghost image of The Finals' main menu visible whenever an area of the screen is in between black and white. I tried opening Paint with a canvas filled to gray and then entering full screen mode (the white border is a Paint limitation not related to the problem, zooming in further doesn't seem to be possible in Paint). Here are three images off different intensities of the burn which there is flickering between.

I have already tried restarting my laptop and reinstalling the NVIDIA driver, neither worked. The HP support assistant chat reported "There are no adjustments or corrective actions for the conditions in this section and the screen requires repair.".
I performed all the video tests in the HP support assistant's PC hardware diagnostics program. All tests passed, though with the dead pixel test I noticed that all channels but green were fine, only the green channel flickered and showed the burn-in. After all the tests were performed the problem still persists exactly the same, flickering and the burn-in. I am not sure if there are frames in the flickering where the burn-in is completely gone, it is hard to tell using only my eyes.
