Hello, community!

I want to change my notebook's screen, but I don't know if my screen has 30 or 40 pin connector.

I want to know if one of this options works for me:

Option 1

Option 2

Option 3

Option 4

Same size and resolution as the original one.

Thanks for your time and help

None of those appear compatible with your laptop.

Your> Maintenance and Service Guide< lists.

 15.6-in, BrightView,FHD,LED,non-TouchScreen display panel  Part# 720557-001

15.6-in, BrightView,HD,LED,non-TouchScreen display panel  Part# 720556-001

I suggest doing a search with the Part # to find compatible screens. Examples here:

https://www.amazon.com/HP-720557-001-DISPLAY-DEFINITION-BRIGHTVIEW/dp/B00JMLPDMI

Thank you so much, this is the first time I have to do something like this and I was thinking about giving more info, what It was so vague.

I checked that guide and yes as you told me, these ones:

Just one more question: Doesn't have to be the same resolution as the original one? (1366 x 768)

BTW, I'm accepting your answer as the solution, thank you so much!

I believe your laptop can use either screen. HP probably sold that model with each screen offering customers the choice of saving a little money on the model with lower resolution screen.

From the Specs page your models shipped with the lower resolution screen-stick with that and you should be fine:

Just to add a little-HP Parts offers these two display panels for your model:

One is the same mentioned in the Maintenance Guide- the other one is yet another part #. HP can get confusing with manuals and lists. I would go with 720556-001 at Amazon, or do another search for the other part number 720551-001 listed at HP Parts

Thank you! (Again)
