I intend to buy the HP Pavillion 15 ck063tx, but I know the Pavillion all have very lackluster displays. As such i want to know if it is possible for me to upgrade to a screen with wider gamut and contrast ratio?

I ask because it seems this model has thinner bezels, which would make finding a screen replacement more difficult.

You separate the bezel from the display panel to make the replacement. All screen panels of that size are physically the same as far as their size and the area covered by the glass and the rim around the glass.  You will not be able to find an entire screen assembly containing anything other than the HP screen. This is what is offered on that model:

15.6-in, FHD, BrightView, LED, UWVA, display panel assembly L01674-001

Manual

See pages 23 and 61.

It is listed as an IPS display and has Ultra wide viewing angles. I am not a big fan of Brightview but this should be a pretty good screen panel.

Here is an image of it and it is a lower right 30 pin connection so you could theoretically swap in any panel of the same size and connector type and resolution and it would work.
