I'm looking for a "screw holder" to mount the 2230 SSD (HP ProBook 440 G11, 460 G11).
What is the part number?

The solid-state drive support kit is available as spare part number N00354-001
HP charges €62.77 for the part and it is not in stock.

I would just buy a M.2 2230 to M.2242 adapter on Amazon.
There's a video on the above link that shows how to install the adapter.
You could have also used a M.2 2242 NVMe SSD and I have no idea why HP says to use a M.2 2230 SSD.
A related discussion.

Hi!
I don't think that the Intel Probook G11s have this 2230 secondary storage. Only some of the AMD ones do. Compare the specsheets for 440 G11 and its AMD counterpart the 445 G11 -specifically the "Storage/Drives" section. This is the same in the Quickspecs pdf for the 440 and 445. Reviews I've read also confirm this.
In my opinion the manual for the 440 G11 has an error when it comes to this matter.

Unfortunately, 2230 and 2242 are without a screw holder (standoff).
I don't know what the correct size is:

The problem is not so much how you will manage to secure the SSD you're going to install, but whether it will actually work.
In my opinion the 440 and 460 are not meant to have SSDs there, only the 445 and 465. Have you tried any SSD? To get it to stay there you could probably find some makeshift solution, but I don't think the drives you install will be recoginized. HP doesn't advertise secondary storage on these models. The manual just -probably- has something left from one of the other manuals (the AMD G11s). For the slot to work it will have to be an M-keyed slot AND be enabled for storage at the factory (HP).

Hi @Pi25
The issue may be that if you don't buy the laptop with the built-in WWAN it probably doesn't have the M.2 port to put the secondary disk. I believe the WWAN port only comes included on laptops ordered with that port or a certain region

Yes resistencia,
I agree with you that if bought with no WWAN module the standoffs are missing, other things are missing. But the most important thing is that the Probook G11s don't seem to be designed to have secondary storage when an Intel CPU is used. Only when an AMD is. At least this is what I've surmised by reading reviews and the little info there is on this on the relevant HP docs....

I checked the 460 G11 model. I see the WWAN connector and antenna cables.
The screw holder (standoff) is missing.
Unfortunately, I don't have a 2230 SSD to check.
The store that upgraded previous versions of the laptop (ProBook 450 G9) with an additional drive claims that the 440 G11 and 460 G11 don't support a second drive.
In the 460 G11 manual, I found one sentence about a 2230 SSD in the WWAN section (Short SSD (2230), page 42).
No other information.

Thank you for your help.

Yes, the store is correct.
This is a B-keyed slot for WWAN devices -hence the antenna cables. You will only be able to plug in a m.2 SSD if you turn it upside down (DON'T). It's possible HP originally intended on having secondary storage (and entered this data on the manuals) on the Intel systems....and changed their minds. Whatever the case may be, pursuing this any further will be a waste of time (and possibly money).
Thank you for providing all this info on the new system's WWAN slot. Take care!
