Hi, I've noticed a screw missing from the bottom of my laptop where the hinge meets the bottom of the computer. How can I get a replacement screw sent to me to fix this issue? I've had screws fall out in the past but have always been able to find them and screw them back in. However, I can't seem to find where this particular screw has gone.
My computer never leaves home, so it is particularly frustrating to have to repair a product that is falling apart on its own. I've seen others post links to a $42 screw kit, but I am not willing to spend that to replace one tiny screw that is missing.
Thanks...

You do not provide the model number of the laptop so we can't really identify the specific type of screw. And I will tell you: screws don't just fall out on their own. If the screw at the hinge corner is falling out you are having hinge issues and likely if you try to insert a new screw it will not hold. So happy to try to help if you can provide a bit more information.

Here's the Service Manual:
All the screws on the bottom are described as Phillips 2 x 5 screws. A whole set is 9 bucks on eBay:
Try replacing the screw and if it holds great: if not post back here for further discussion. Good luck.

Per the seller's notes on Ebay, “The HP Pavilion 15Z-AW Genuine Screw Set has been carefully removed from a used laptop. The screw set is a full set of screws with the exception of Hard Drive Caddy Screws and LCD Hinge Screws.”
The screws in the bottom of the laptop are not all the same size either.

Then maybe some pictures? Because the Manual on p. 29 shows 8 Phillips 2 x 5 screws on the bottom. Is one of those what you need? Also these are not hinge screws. Those are shown on p. 40 and are 2.5 x 6 screws but you could not see those without removing the bottom cover.
